The FC65 Retrofit Collar has a square flanged base for surface mounting. It is a multi-purpose collar designed for use on pipework through penetrations in fire rated concrete slabs, masonry and lightweight walls and lined ceilings.
The FC65 can be easily opened, making the retrofitting quick and straightforward. They will accommodate pipes and UPVC pipe fittings of varying outside diameters. The collars are simply unclipped, placed around the pipe, re-clipped, pushed tight against the substrate and fixed in place with fire rated anchors.
Important Note: The fire collar must have the relevant certification for each specific application, otherwise it will be deemed non-compliant.
